SplashStar laid on the HighRock, her ears twitching for any signs of danger. She supressed a glow of pride as her gaze travelled over the camp. And it is all mine she thought happily. I will do my best to make sure this Clan will be at it's pinnacle while I'm around

With a yawn and a stretch, RippleFur rose from his short nap. Shaking the dust off of his shiny crimped coat, he made his way over to HighRock where SplashStar lay surveying the land she ruled. "Heya, SplashStar!" he called up to her, smiling at her cheekily. "How are you this fine day?"

"Could ya get any louder...?" Pebblesplash muttered, flicking her ears in annoyance. She didn't really like it when cats had to be so loud when they're so close together. She yawned, curling up in the shade of the reeds.

SplashStar twitched her tail. "Really, Ripplefur?"she asked the tom, trying to be serious, but she was smiling all the same. She licked her paw. "I feel rather exhausted today." she answered Ripplefur, sighing.

"That makes one of us," he laughed. "I feel ready to take on the world!" he shouted, puffing out his chest. He looked at PebbleSplash roguishly and stuck out his tongue at her. "But really, I think I'm going to go out and do some hunting, if there isn't anything else you'd like me to do. The pile has been looking a little low to me."

Pebblesplash looked away and flick an ear before standing up. "I'll come. I have nothing better to do..." she sighed, stretching and joining him near the camp entrance.

He grinned at her again, and trotted happily out of the camp and on to the pristine and beautiful cliffs that led down to the beach. He hopped down to the sand, leaping from rock shelf to rock shelf. He didn't stop to think, and his expertise in knowing just what ledge to jump to showed that he had been traversing the cliffs his entire life. His paws hit the sand silently, and he lay close to the ground, so as to not attract any attention. His silver fur was close enough to the sand's color to blend in, so he didn't worry about hiding.
His hunter's crouch looked powerful and sleek, and like that, he waited for a sand piper to walk by.

Pebblesplash followed him, close behind him. She move gracefully over the sand, into the shaded sand. "Might find more prey where their paws wont get scortched." she called quietly, staying alert for signs of moving prey. Her ear flicked and she instantly found a medium-sized burd with black wingtips. She slowly lowered herself, moving closer step-by-step.

A low snicker bubbled out of RippleFur. "Yes, you're probably right," he whispered, quietly enough not to scare off potential prey. "You know what, though?" He said. "I feel like going for a swim." And with that, he crawled off so he wouldn't scare away PeppleSplash's soon-to-be catch, then bounded off into the sea spray. There, he rolled around in the salty water until he was soaked, and caught a few minnows for the prey pile.

She flicked her ear, taking another pawstep closer to the bird. She leaped, her sleek figure arching though the air and landing on one of it's wings. She quickly pinned it and killed it, hiding it in a thorn bramble. She then quickly, but quietly, joined Ripplefur in the salt waters.

Ivypaw peered out of the Medicine Cats Den, which was seperated from most of the other dens, staring at Ripplefur with raised eyebrows. "Frolicking?" She asked in amusement, laying down and crossing her paws, her gray eyes sparkling with teasing amusement. ~ Sharptooth leaned out of the Warrior's Den, his broken eyes scanning the clan. He stepped out, flinching as the waves crashed against the shore.

RippleFur smiled at her as she joined him, but then turned back to the water and concentrated. Although the water was usually nearly as clear as glass, catching fish in it had clouded the water slightly with sand. He watched for movement in the debris, and when he spotted something large moving through the water, he pounced. The fish he now had in his teeth was enormous, and flipped clear out of the water with RippleFur still attached. He held on mercilessly, though the fish was giving him a sound beating over the face and had bitten back, ripping at his ear. Eventually, the fish tired, and RippleFur was able to drag it onto land and let it die.
"THAT one was a doozy," he said, laughing. Half of his face was bruised.

"Talk about reckless. It looked fun though." she grinned, flicking his ears.

Ivypaw's eyes widened slightly and she bounded quickly out of the den as he trashed in the sea water, fighting the fish. She smiled once she saw that he wasn't hurt. Well, too badly. She bent down and sniffed the fish, pawing at its scales before flashing an impressed look toward Ripplefur. "That's because this is a hog-fish. Good job, these are hard to catch." She praised. Ivypaw backed up into the den and tugged out a few herbs, chewing them in polutice and dabbing them on the rip of his ear and his bruises. She glanced behind her shoulder toward the camp and stiffened when she spotted her father, Sharptooth. Her fur started to bristle and she stepped into the shadows of her Medicine Den so he wouldn't see her.

"Thanks IvyPaw," he sighed weakly. He lay down in the sand and rolled around to rid himself of the rest of the water and rose to shake the sand off of his fur. He would groom himself later. With a yawn and a stretch, he moved back toward his fish. "Good to know what these are. I'll watch out for them." He sat down beside it and looked back at the ocean, where the sun was threatening to dip below the water's edge. The sky, however, was only barely darkening.
"Beautiful evening," he remarked.
